It is not only modern agricultural machines that are becoming more and more powerful, the suitable front and rear attachments are also moving into new areas. This is good for the users as it substantially expands the range of application for their investment.

So how is the required power for modern agricultural machines transferred to the attachments? This development is a new challenge for designers, as the correct working pressure from the hydraulic system is not the only important factor. The machines can only develop their full performance if sufficient volumetric flow is available. At the same time, pressure drop in the lines and especially in the couplings has to be reduced to prevent an increase of motor load and fuel consumption.

Specifically for this application, VOSWINKEL has developed a new high-performance coupling system which exceeds the requirements of ISO 7241-1 series A and ISO 5675 for the agricultural sector.

In combination with the new HX male tip, the UX female body achieves a maximum volumetric flow of 240 litres per minute – a record level. At the same time pressure losses remain low. Operation in heavy-duty tractors and attachments such as tippers is now safe.

The new UX female body: easy operation

VOSWINKEL does not only focus on hydraulic performance but also on practical handling. The newly developed single-hand coupling sleeve can be connected under full operating pressure. Further advantages include the breakaway function and the push-pull function as well as the low connection and disconnection force.

The female body is available in two different lengths (versions S and L) which makes it compatible with most of the commercially available couplings.

More performance with the new HX male tip

The systematic further development of the aforementioned male tip from the VOSWINKEL range meets the extreme requirements of practical use. The geometry of the male tip, the spanner size and the thread variants correspond to the standard of the HP series from VOSWINKEL.

The new UX/HX system is now available.
