Ensuring reliability and a long useful life

Plastic cartridges from Stauff protect diesel locomotive engines

Stauff from Werdohl in Germany is known as a specialist for fluid technology, and also as a manufacturer of replacement filter elements, such as for construction, forestry and agricultural machines, but also for industrial hydraulic systems.

What only few people know: The comprehensive range with over 10,000 different types also includes plastic filter cartridges from the SFK range suitable for backflushing. These elements are used for filtration of lubricating oil for engines in diesel locomotives. They use a special filter mesh which offers best possible protection of the delicate components against contamination while ensuring reliability and a long useful life. This is supported by the special design of the elements which makes best possible use of the filter surface.

The filter elements with a length of either 320 or 445 millimetres fit into the automatic filter housings usually installed on diesel engines. Their quality, function and installation is identical to that of the respective original parts.

Stauff customers benefit from full access to several thousand different spare and replacement filter elements – all from a single source. In addition to the flexible manufacturing lines and the high availability from stock in their fully automated logistics centre in Neuenrade, further benefits of the company include their technical expertise resulting from decades of experience as a developer and manufacturer of high-performance filtration products.
