Automatic measuring at the push of a button and by radio remote control

(Werdohl, April 2009)

At the Hanover Fair 2009 (20 – 24 April), the Stauff Group will be presenting the latest developments in their Diagtronics line - products for use in hydraulic and pneumatic systems for measuring and recording pressure, temperature, volume flow rates, frequencies and speeds. The measuring devices PPC-06 plus and PPC-08 plus now feature improved connectivity (USB instead of RS-232 interface), simpler menu navigation, and also allow measuring tasks to be programmed via PC. Sales engineer Thorsten Kinkel: “One of our experts sets up the measuring procedure, then sends a less proficient team member with the programmed measuring device to the place of use, where it is only necessary to press a button”. The new digital manometer SPG-DIGI-W (wireless) even functions as a data logger with remote enquiry, and can start measuring tasks and access the results by radio remote control. New sensor technology will also be presented: the PPC 04/12-PT 60 can record up to 60 bar, effectively bridging the gap between 15 and 150 bar; and the PPC 04/12-Pt 601 monitors peak pressures of up to 1000 bar. “Old” sensors can of course still be used in our further developments.
