At this years InterSolar trade fair, the leading international business event for the solar industry taking place from 09 – 11 June 2010 in Munich, Walter Stauffenberg GmbH & Co. KG presented their wide range of components for hydraulic solar tracking systems. 

Besides the well-known and proven Stauff clamps, that are used to securely fasten pipes, tubes, hoses, cables and others components, the company's portfolio also includes hydraulic accessories which are used to for hydraulic power units and reservoirs in the solar industry, namely level gauges for the optical and optical/electrical indication of fluid levels, plastic filler breathers and desiccant air breathers. All the components convince with their compact construction designed for durable operation: Most of the hydraulic accessories are available in stainless steel as well, or come with a unique Zinc/Nickel coating oriented toward maximum corrosion resistance. They can also be used even under extreme temperature and weathering conditions.

Background information

Walter Stauffenberg GmbH & Co. KG was founded in the 1950s in Werdohl, in the German province North Rhine-Westphalia, and was initially a contract turning shop. Today the company operates under the trade name STAUFF, developing, producing and marketing fluid technology components for use in plant construction and mechanical engineering. In the fields of tube, pipe and hose clamps, measuring technology and hydraulic filtration, this is one of the leading organisations in a growing branch of industry.

Meanwhile, almost 1000 employees all over the world (12/2009) generate an annual turnover of around EUR 125 million (12/2009). Distribution subsidiaries have recently been opened in Poland, Korea, Russia and Ireland. In addition to the group headquarters in Werdohl Ehrenfeld, the company has production and logistics facilities in Plettenberg-Ohle and Neuenrade-Küntrop.
