Rounding off the SF type series
Compact, complete and clever

In response to the trend for compact all-in solutions, Stauff have now launched three new high- and medium-pressure filters in the SF series. Approved for operating pressures of up to 315 bar, the SF-TM (top-mounted) and SF-SM (side-mounted) filters are affixed to the control block by the user. “The SF-TM is particularly suited for rough conditions in steel work construction since there are no additional pipelines,” says head of design and development, Ulrich König. “Because it is connected directly to the control block, a very compact solution can be achieved with this filter.”

The light-weight version is type SFA which has an aluminium housing and is intended for a maximum operating pressure of between 150 and 160 bar.
There are already some users who only implement the filter bowl approved for maximum 250 bar. Ulrich König: “All our filters warrant an excellent service life and very good retaining power, especially when combined with our 4PRO filter material.” The new products can be fitted with the same valves, spare parts and clogging indicators as for the existing systems in the SF type series. Stauff will be presenting their new trio on Stand D21 in Hall 21 at this year’s Hanover Industrial Fair taking place from 4 – 8 April 2011.
