High-Pressure Ball Valves

High-Pressure Ball Valves

(Werdohl, March 2011)

Designed to withstand high operating pressures, they keep streams of fluid and other media under control and, according to Wikipedia, are fittings that feature a spherical disk with a hole through the middle as their shut-off element. This description fits the new Stauff high-pressure ball valves to be presented in the company’s new general catalogue at the Hanover Industrial Fair. “We have more than 25 years of international experience with ball valves,” explains General Sales Manager, Hendrik Schmücker. “What is new is that they have now been incorporated into our product range for Germany – at the express request of our customers.”

The new fittings will be on the market in a wide range of materials, including steel or stainless steel, with a zinc/iron-based corrosion protection layer. “As with all STAUFF products, the new ball valves will be high-end where quality and design are concerned.”
