Tank-top filters for agricultural machines

Tank-top filters for agricultural machines

(Werdohl, October 2011)

Compact, lightweight filter keeps tanks clean

Made by STAUFF specifically for mobile hydraulic units, this return line filter (RFB) with by-pass valve is light and compact – and on show at the Agritechnica trade fair. The RFB filters the oil before it flows back into the tank, effectively preventing any dirt from components in the hydraulic system from reaching the tank. The aluminium filter head is easily mounted on the tank opening. RE series filter elements are fitted into the sturdy plastic filter bowl where their high dirt-holding capacity warrants a long service life. This filter is designed for flow rates of up to 185 l/min and can optionally be supplied with clogging indicator, pressure gauge and electrical switch for signalling that the filter needs to be changed. Vacuum in tanks without a venting filter can be avoided by using the RFB fitted with an air filter element.

Find out further details at the Agritechnica taking place in Hanover from 13 - 19 November 2011. The STAUFF booth is in Hall 25, stand No. M27.
