Digital pressure measurement made easy

Press release on the occasion of Maintenance Stuttgart

Digital pressure gauges of type SPG-DIGI from Stauff are an alternative to conventional Bourdon tube pressure gauges filled with glycerine, if pressure peaks and drops are not only to be recorded within the system, but also temporarily stored. Both the current measured values (between -1 and 600 bar) and MIN and MAX values – with a high precision of 0.5 per cent of the maximum scale value – can be shown on the multi-line backlit display in bar, PSI, MPa , kPa or mbar.

The pressure gauges have been developed for the measurement and display of operating pressures in hydraulic and lubricating oil systems, providing an important contribution to error analysis and the identification of possible weaknesses in the system. Use with water instead of oil is also not a problem.

The compact measuring devices are easy to use – with a total of 4 buttons – and are characterised particularly by their robust design: they are dustproof and nearly completely waterproof (IP 67 protection rating) and can thus be used briefly or continuously, even under adverse conditions.

Depending on customer requirements, SPG-DIGI digital pressure gauges are available either individually – with various adapters, such as for connection to hydraulic test couplings of the type Stauff Test – or as components of handy pressure test kits.
