Identifying filter elements from a variety of manufacturers and procuring them from a single source

Stauff has redesigned their online filter database at www.filterinterchange.com

Fluid technology specialist Stauff, based in Werdohl, Germany, is one of the leading manufacturers of filtration solutions in the area of industrial media, such hydraulic and lubrication oils, heavy fuels, water, chemicals and coolants – equal in form, fit and function to the original products while maintaining or even surpassing their performance.

Recently, the company has completely redesigned their online database for identifying and converting replacement filter elements, available in eight languages at www.filterinterchange.com, including adding a host of new features.

As a result of a search request for a filter element – which includes at least 3 consecutive characters of the original designation – users now also receive additional details in addition to the corresponding designation of the equivalent product made by Stauff, such as an image, the most relevant dimensions and information relating to the micron rating and to the materials used. With more than 65,000 datasets from a variety of manufacturers, conversions for almost all the common filter brands and types are being offered at this time.

A convenient watch list feature allows search results to be documented and permanently saved, even in the form of an easy-to-read PDF data sheet if required. No-obligation enquiries can also easily be generated and transmitted in the same way.

Stauff customers benefit from a full access option to several thousand different spare and replacement filter elements – all from a single source. In addition to the flexible manufacturing lines and the high availability from stock in their fully automated logistics centre in Neuenrade, further benefits of the company include their technical expertise resulting from decades of experience as a developer and manufacturer of high-performance filtration products.
